Happy to be part of the Fêtes Interconnectées de la BD organised by @girlxcott collective, a joyful series of independent comic-focused events happening across Europe from late January to early February. These celebrations are all about sharing the love of comics, bringing creators and readers together, and opening up space for new and diverse voices in the world of the 9th art.

January 29th at Grafik, we’re happy welcome three inspiring artists for talks, bookrelease, booksignings, drawing session:

🎨 Maïte Grandjouan 🔸booksign/talk

Painter, comic artist, and illustrator based in Paris. Her award-winning work draws inspiration from cinema—especially horror, exploring themes of loneliness, atmosphere, and surreal contrast. @maitegrandjouan

🖋 Hélène Lespagnard 🔹booksign/talk

A local comic artist whose work has appeared in Polle, De Standaard, Knack, and Aline. Her playful illustrations often reinterpret cultural icons, from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to her own tarot card creations. @helene_lespagnard

✨ Charlotte Dumortier 🔸comic drawing game ✏️

Antwerp-based illustrator, comic artist, and character designer. Her lively characters have appeared in anthologies, books, and even The New York Times. @charlotte.dumortier
