What is RISO, anyway?

RISO (short for Risograph) is a Japanese stencil printing technique that blends the best of screen printing and photocopying. Known for its vibrant spot colors, imperfect textures, and eco-friendly soy-based inks, RISO has become a cult favorite among illustrators and indie publishers.

¿Qué es RISO, por cierto?

RISO (abreviatura de Risograph) es una técnica japonesa de impresión con esténcil que combina lo mejor de la serigrafía y la fotocopia. Conocida por sus colores vibrantes, texturas imperfectas y tintas ecológicas a base de soja, RISO se ha convertido en un favorito de culto entre ilustradores y editoriales independientes.
